This lovely church is only a few blocks from the Long Island Sound. Built on the eve of World War II using bricks from a nearby housing project, it was consecrated to Our Lady of Peace. Parishioners requested that the renovation preserve the distinctive simplicity of the original French Normandy inspired design.

A simple gray tile floor replaced the carpeting. The sanctuary was lightened and highlighted with gold, the altar restored, and original wrought iron candlesticks returned to the sanctuary.

The beautiful, original wood Stations of the Cross were restored and embellished with 23K gold leaf highlights.
